Homage paid to eminent theatre artiste Nand Kishore Agrawal

Jamshedpur: The theatre and drama artistes of Jamshedpur offered homage to Nand Kishore Agrawal, the eminent theatre artiste of Jamshedpur and former president of theatre group ‘Abhisarkika’ of Jamshedpur.

An online condolence meeting was also organised by the theatre artistes of the city. The meeting was presided by the present president of Abhisarika Hari Mittal.

Hari Mittal said that Nandu Bhai had played the role of Kripacharya in the first drama staged by Abhisarika. Later, he also played important roles in plays like Kaasaibada, Ek Tha Gadha, Laila Majnu Murdabad and Simhasan Khali Hai.

He said that late Nand Kishore Agrawal was also a social worker and was associated with several social organisations.

Those who attended the condolence meeting included K L Mittal, Kamal Kishore Agrawal, Shiv Kumar Prasad, Krishna Sinha, Ram Awatar Agrawal, Prem Agrawal, Shankarlal Likhta, Yogesh Malhotra, Awtar Singh, Chander, Rajesh Sinha, Suchanda Bose and Viashnavi Singh.
