Wednesday Corona takes 7 lives, total death toll 100

Jamshedpur: Corona death toll has now crossed 100 in Jamshedpur. 7 Covid-19 positive patients have died in the city on Wednesday.

The total death toll in the city, including those who died in TMH, Tinplate and MGMCH has now actually crossed 115, while the number of Jamshedpur citizens who have died of the disease has crossed 100 now.

On Wednesday, 6 persons died in TMH and 1 in MGMCH of Corona.

The deceased include a 48-year-old person from Ranikudar. He was having breathing difficulties and was admitted in TMH. He died during treatment.

Another 65-year-old person from Zakirnagar also died in TMH. He was admitted in TMH on August 11. And a Sakchi resident 66-year-old patient too died of Corona on Wednesday.

Earlier, in the day, four persons had died of Corona too.

The people who died today included Sarabjit Singh Bhatia, the owner of Dupatta Sagar. He lived in Ranikudar. He was found Corona positive on August 6 and was admitted in Hotel Sonnet, Bistupur for treatment. He succumbed to complications.

The second person who succumbed was a 74-year-old person resident of Golmuri. He was admitted in TMH on August 6 with fever and diarrhoea. He died during treatment. Similarly, a 78-year-old person from Kadma also succumbed to complications. He was admitted in TMH on July 27 for a fractured bone. Later, he tested positive for Corona.

The fourth person who died was from Balrampur in West Bengal. He died due to multi-organ failure. He was admitted in TMH on August 11.
