Ranchi: Covid-19 has started taking a heavy toll on the state on a regular basis. On Wednesday too Corona has given no respite to the state and has taken 8 more lives in Jharkhand taking the total death toll to 202 in the state. On the other hand, the state also registered 679 new positive cases.
On Wednesday, 8 persons have died of Corona in Jharkhand. With this the death toll for the state has now reached 202.
Meanwhile, 1567 persons have been cured and discharged in the state too on Wednesday.
In all, 679 new positive cases have been found in the state on Wednesday.
With this, the total number of infections in the state has now reached 20,257. Meanwhile, till date 12,197 persons have been cured and discharged in the state.
Till date the state has tested 4,02,472 samples, out of which 20,257 were found positive. The number of active cases is 7,858 in the state.
