Corona kills one more person in city on Thursday, total deaths for city 56

116 fresh Covid-19 positive cases on Thursday

Jamshedpur: Corona has taken 1 more life in city taking the total death toll in the city due to Corona to 56.

A 58-year-old person from Kitadih has died due to Corona-related complications.

The deceased was admitted in TMh on July 28 with breathing difficulties. He also had high fever and cold. He was being treated at TMH, where despite efforts of the doctors he succumbed to complications.

With this, the death toll for the city has increased to 56, although 72 persons in all have died in the city. This figure includes many from outside the district.

Meanwhile, according to the district administration communique, 116 more persons have tested as Covid-19 positive in the city on Thursday. They are being admitted in different hospitals of the city. 12 persons have also been cured and discharged from hospital on Thursday.

The district administration has appealed to the people to continue maintaining social distancing.
