Corona takes 3 lives in Jharkhand on Tuesday, State death tally now 36, new cases 247

Ranchi: Corona killed three persons in Jharkhand on Tuesday taking the total death toll due to this viral disease in the state to 36.

On Tuesday, 247 more people tested positive for Covidi-19 in the state taking the total infections to 4225. However, 77 persons were also cured and discharged from hospitals.

The total number of infections in the state have now reached 4225 with today’s 247 new cases. However, the number of active cases is only 1,761 as 2,428 persons have already been cured and discharged from hospitals in different districts of the state.

Out of the three deaths reported on Tuesday, one relates to Dhanbad, one to East Singhbhum and one to Ranchi.

The patient of Dhanbad, Jamadoba actually succumbed to Covid-19 in Jamshedpur, where she was being treated.
