Jamshedpur: The city encountered a sad Sunday again as one person succumbed to Corona infections in TMH Saturday night taking the death toll for the city to three and then four new persons were identified as Covid-19 positive.

On the other hand 15 persons were also cured and discharged.

The number of total infections in neighbouring West Singhbhum has reached 96, while in Seraikela district this number is now 103.

All the new positive patients identified today are now being admitted in the Covid ward of local hospitals.

The administration has started taking tough measures to thwart the spread of Corona in the district.

The admn has ordered closure of all vegetable markets in the city to ensure that they are sanitised thoroughly. This order would be implemented every week.

The district administration has issued orders to keep the vegetable shops closed from Saturday 3 p.m. till Sunday 7 p.m. in whole of Jamshedpur keeping the rapid increase in the number of Covid-19 infected persons. This order would be implemented every week and the time would be used for sanitising the vegetable markets of the city.
