Adityapur bombing and firing case solved, 10 arrested

Big success for Seraikela-Kharsawan police as they bust criminal gang

Jamshedpur: Seraikela-Kharsawan police have achieved a big success as they have unravelled the case of bombing and firing that was perpetrated near Kesari Gas Godown in Adityapur a few days back. The district police have also busted the gang associated with the crime and have arrested ten persons responsible for it. Raids are on to arrest more people associated with the gang.

The police have also found two 7.65 bore pistols, one country-made pistol, more than two dozens of live cartridges, two cars, two bikes, more than a dozen mobile phones and SIM cards of more than six different companies from the possession of the arrested persons.

Those who have been arrested include Omy Rao, Sunil Tiwary, Rakesh Pandey, Lalesh Warley, Parmeshwar Das, Shashibhushan Bharati, Ratan Tiu, Hasimuddin Ansari, Jaikan pandey and Sunil Thakur.

The SP of Seraikela-Kharsawan Md Arshi said that the criminal gangs are once again trying to form their gangs.

He said that owing to the weakening of the gang of Akhilesh Singh in the neighbouring East Singhbhum district, these people were trying to hamper the work of several big projects and companies, especially of the railways, by seeking help from shooters from other districts.

The SP said that there are other members too in the gang and raids are being made to arrest them.

He said that the gang has five main criminals, while others are petty contractors and land brokers.

He said that the gang aimed to create a sense of fear in the area. All arrested persons have a criminal record in either Jamshedpur or neighbouring districts.
