58 new Covid-19 cases in East Singhbhum on Tuesday, total 583

Jamshedpur: 58 more persons have tested positive in East Singhbhum district on Tuesday. With this the number of total infected persons in the district has reached 583. It is expected to cross 600 within next couple of days.

On the other hand, five patients being treated in MGMCH and three patients being treated at TMH Covid ward have been cured and discharged from hospital.

Of the discharged persons, one is from Musabani, one from Bagbera, two are from Chakulia, one from Mango, one from Agrico and two are from Golmuri.

On Monday, 24 new persons had tested positive for Covid-19 in East Singhbhum.

All onew patients are being admitted in the Covid hospitals.

The district administration is concerned at the rise in the number of new cases, especially of those with no travel history. The administration has reiterated its appeal to the people to comply with all the necessary precautions.
