Intuc demonstrates for re-opening of factories, jobs for locals

Jamshedpur: Intuc members, led by Raghunath Pandey, today took out al huge rally and demonstrated before the DC office. They were protesting anti-worker policies of the central government and were demanding that factories be re-opened.

Raghunath Pandey, Intuc leader and president of Jusco Workers Union, said that the local workers are facing a tough time as outsiders are being engaged by many factories, while a large number of companies have been closed.

He said that the government should take measures to ensure that the factories are opened and the local workers get employment.

He also denounced the anti-worker policies of the central government.
