Monday: 13 new Covid-19 positive cases in East Singhbhum, total infected now 380

Jamshedpur: 13 more persons have tested positive for Covid-19 in East Singhbhum district. This takes the tally of total infected persons to 380.

Two persons of these 13 have had a travel history to Haryana, while one had arrived from Mumbai.

Six of these are residents of Golmuri, one of Kadma, two of Burmamines, two of Bistupur, one of Agrico and one of Mango.

All these 13 newly found positive cases are being admitted in Covid-19 wards of two city hospitals.

On the other hand, three persons being treated in the MGMCH Covid ward have been cured and they were discharged from the hospital. Two of them are from Dumaria, while one is from Potka.

Yesterday, ten persons had tested positive in East Singhbhum. Today the new cases tally came down a little.

Meanwhile, the district administration has again reiterated its appeal to the citizens to continue abiding by all the safety precautions to prevent the spread of the disease and to continue social distancing.
