Ten more test positive for COVID-19 in East Singhbhum on Saturday, total infected tally now 363

Jamshedpur: Ten more persons have tested positive in East Singhbhum on Saturday. This takes the total infected tally for the district to 363.

Out of these 10 new positive cases, three have had a travel history to Chennai, three to Howrah, one to Andhra Pradesh, two to Delhi and one to Faridabad.

Three new positive patients are from Baharagora, three are from Dumaria, one is from Potka, two are from Telco and one is from Baridih.

All these ten persons are being admitted in the Covid wards of the city hospitals.

Yesterday, only two had tested positive in East Singhbhum district. However, Saturday saw another spurt as the new cases jumped up to 10.

The number of total infected persons in the district has reached 363 now.

Meanwhile, the district administration has again reiterated its appeal to the citizens to continue abiding by all the safety precautions to prevent the spread of the disease and to continue social distancing.
