Jamshedpur Rallies for Water Conservation on World Water Day with Tata Steel UISL Initiatives

Tata Steel Utilities and Infrastructure Services Limited (TSUISL) led a citywide campaign in Jamshedpur for World Water Day, showcasing the theme “Water for Peace: Creating Ripples for a Better Future” with innovative activities and community engagement.

JAMSHEDPUR – Celebrating World Water Day, Tata Steel UISL launched a series of events in Jamshedpur to emphasize water conservation, starting with a Save Water Awareness mobile van rally from Sir Dorabji Tata Park.

The rally, led by Ritu Raj Sinha, MD of Tata Steel UISL, alongside Tata Steel’s Senior Leadership, aimed to spark community involvement in water preservation efforts.

The day-long festivities at the Russi Modi Centre for Excellence featured the launch of 2 Sewage Pumping Stations in Jamshedpur’s east, a Water-Tech Exhibition, and a panel discussion, inaugurated by Chanakya Chaudhary, VP of Corporate Services at Tata Steel, and Ritu Raj Sinha.

The panel discussion drew experts from Tata Steel, Tata Power, and Tata Motors, underscoring their dedication to sustainable water use.

An exhibition showcased the latest in water management technologies, reflecting the industry’s commitment to innovative conservation solutions.

World Water Day underscores the importance of water in achieving peace and sustainability, with Tata Steel UISL leading the charge in promoting responsible water stewardship for a better future.
