Illegal Liquor Seizure: Major Raid in East Singhbhum

East Singhbhum authorities crack down on illegal liquor sales, conducting major raids and making arrests.

JAMSHEDPUR – The Assistant Commissioner Product, East Singhbhum, led multiple successful raids targeting illegal liquor operations.

Raids were conducted at Kanyaluka under the jurisdiction of Gudabanda police station, and at Terenga under Musabani police station.

The result was the recovery and seizure of various brands of illegal foreign liquor and authorized beer meant for sale in West Bengal.

One illicit liquor seller was apprehended and incarcerated, and an absconding case has been lodged against another.

In a separate raid, an additional illicit liquor vendor from Gandhinagar under Bagbeda police station was detained and put behind bars.

Seized exhibits included: 23.76 liters of foreign liquor, 25.95 liters of beer authorized for sale in West Bengal, and 20 liters of Mahua liquor.
