Major Raid Dismantles Fake Foreign Liquor Operation
Authorities in Chakradharpur have cracked down on an illegal foreign liquor manufacturing setup, detaining five individuals during a significant raid.
CHAKRADHARPUR – In a concerted effort to curb the production and sale of counterfeit foreign liquor, police conducted a raid on a residence near Chakradharpur Municipal Councilor Harijan Basti, previously owned by the late Raghunath Saav.
The operation revealed a clandestine liquor manufacturing business operating out of three rooms.
A substantial police force, led by ASP Paras Rana, Police Inspector Rajiv Ranjan, and Sheela Minj, the in-charge of the Mahila police station, was deployed for the raid.
Five suspects have been detained in connection with the illegal enterprise, with police actions ongoing to dismantle the operation fully.
This raid comes in response to persistent complaints from locals about the manufacture and distribution of fake foreign liquor in Chakradharpur and its vicinity, which had been causing unrest in the community.
