Union Submits Charter of Demand to TSDPL Management Ahead of October Grade Revision

Union leaders submit Charter of Demand to TSDPL management for upcoming grade revision; urge timely negotiations for employee benefit.

Jamshedpur: The union representing employees of Tata Steel Distribution and Processing Limited (TSDPL) has submitted a Charter of Demand to the company’s management in anticipation of the grade revision due on October 1, 2023.

The Charter of Demand was prepared by a committee led by Chairman Rakeshwar Pandey and includes input from union members Sanjeev Kumar, Dinesh Kumar, Sachidanand, R Ravi, Ranjan Mishra, and Pramod Upadhyay.

The union has been studying the grades and facilities received by different companies over the past two months to create a comprehensive demand charter that considers the present and future needs of TSDPL employees.

The finalized Charter of Demand was handed over to Jamshedpur unit HR head Shekhar Jha after incorporating suggestions from President Rakeshwar Pandey and General Secretary Aman Singh.

In a letter to the management, Chairman Rakeshwar Pandey urged that discussions on the grade revision should commence on time so that employees can receive the benefits they are entitled to without delay.

The Charter of Demand was handed over to the management by General Secretary Aman Singh and other key union representatives, including Sanjeev Singh, SB Rana, R Ravi, Dinesh Kumar, Ranjan Mishra, BD Singh, Tridev Singh, Manoj Kumar Singh, Pramod Upadhyay, and Hari Shankar Prasad.
