Astitva NGO Submits Train Stoppage Demand to Chief Yard Master of Adityapur Station

Local Organization Requests Resumption of Key Train Services for Resident Convenience

Astitva Sanstha submitted a demand letter to Chief Yard Master Akhilesh Kumar at Adityapur station, Seraikela Kharsawan district, requesting the stoppage of several trains for the convenience of local residents.

JAMSHEDPUR – Astitva, a local NGO, has formally requested the resumption of train stoppages at Adityapur station, Seraikela Kharsawan district, through a demand letter submitted to Chief Yard Master Akhilesh Kumar.

The letter outlined the need for stoppages of several key trains, including South Bihar Express, Tata Howrah Express, Tata Buxar Express, Subarnarekha Express, Howrah Ranchi Super Fast Express, Tata Asansol Express, and Tata Ernakulam Express.

Some of these trains had their stoppages halted during the Covid-19 pandemic, and the organization is now requesting their reinstatement.

The letter emphasized the facilities available at Adityapur station, such as a large parking area, connectivity with Tata Kandra Main Road, and various transportation options.

Copies of the demand letter were also sent to the outgoing MP of Singhbhum, the Director of Tatanagar, Railway DRM Chakradharpur, Chairman of the Railway Board, and the GM of South Eastern Railway.

On the occasion, several prominent members of Astitva Sanstha were present, including founder co-secretary Meera Tiwari, District President Baijayanti Bari, and respected members TK Prasad, Ramashankar Pandey, Vijay Kumar Srivastava, Diwakar Jha, Khirod Sardar, Anita Devi, Dashmita Highbro, Anjali Honhaga, Esther Tirkey, Roshni Urao, along with many local residents.

The organization highlighted the importance of these train services for the local community’s convenience and accessibility.
