Corona in Jharkhand on Monday: only 1 death, 403 new cases

Pandemic death toll in Jharkhand now 886, active cases 5,119

Ranchi: Coronavirus is on retreat in most parts of India, including Jharkhand. It has caused only one death on Monday and has been on a steady decline in terms of death caused in the state during the last one week or so.

With one death today, the total death caused by the virus in the state has now reached 886. However, seeing the drop in the figures of mortality, it can certainly be said that the first wave of the pandemic is slowing down.

According to official data, the state has tested 34,31,063 samples till Monday. Out of these, the total number of samples testing positive is 1,02,490. For now, the state has 5,119 active cases of coronavirus infection, while 96,485 patients have already recovered.

The virus has caused 886 deaths till Monday. On Monday itself, 403 new cases were detected in the state, while 512 patients were cured and discharged. One death was also reported.
