Key Points:

  • Senior SP opens newly built children’s park at Police Centre, Golmuri
  • Facility aims to give police families a safe recreational space
  • Officers and personnel plant saplings during the same event

JAMSHEDPUR – The Senior Superintendent of Police inaugurated a newly constructed children’s park for police families at the Golmuri Police Centre on Friday. The park has been developed for the families of police officers and personnel. Its purpose is to give children a better space for recreation while ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for their families.

Speaking at the inauguration, the Senior SP said that providing such facilities to the families of police personnel remains among the department’s priorities. He added that the children’s park would support the all-round development of children while fostering a positive atmosphere among families connected to the force.

A tree plantation programme was also organised on the premises during the same event. Officers and police personnel planted saplings as part of the initiative, conveying a message about environmental protection. Several police officials, personnel, and their family members attended the programme.

The initiative is being seen as a significant step towards the welfare of police families and the creation of a better social environment within the department. Police establishments across Jharkhand have in recent weeks carried out similar tree plantation drives, with several units marking environment-related programmes alongside other welfare initiatives for personnel and their families.
