The hosts struggled after choosing to bat first. Ishan Kishan fell early to spinner Sai Kishore.

Sharandeep Singh showed resilience with 52 runs. His innings included several confident strokes.

Meanwhile, Anukul Roy provided valuable support with 46 runs. The partnership briefly steadied Jharkhand’s innings.

Tamil Nadu’s Dominance

Spinners Ajith Ram and Sai Kishore claimed three wickets each. Their tight bowling created constant pressure.

Moreover, Mohammed Mohammed and Lakshay Jain supported well. Each picked up two crucial wickets.

Visitors’ Strong Start

Tamil Nadu reached 30 without loss at tea. Mohamed Ali looked confident at 23 not out.

However, Jharkhand’s bowlers struggled for rhythm. Ashish Kumar proved expensive in his opening spell.
