CHAKRADHARPUR – A local resident’s four-year struggle for land mutation has highlighted administrative delays at the Bandgaon circle office.
Satish Mahto has been visiting the office since 2020 for the mutation process. Meanwhile, officials cite missing Panji-2 records as the reason for delay.
Political Intervention
JMM leader Ramlal Munda has discussed the issue with circle officers. Moreover, he received assurance about resolving the matter soon.
The case involves land registered to Gusai Mahtain, Satish’s mother. Furthermore, the Karaikela Mukhiya has recommended approval of the mutation.
Land History
The property was originally owned by late Madina Bibi. Additionally, records show her name in Khata 290, Khesra 373 of Karaikela village.
Official documents confirm no living heirs of the previous owner. However, the applicant purchased 1.11 acres in 1964.
Documentation Support
The sale deed number 1210 dates back to September 7, 1964. Besides, the Mukhiya confirmed no disputes exist over the property.
The local administration received complete documentation. On the other hand, the missing Panji-2 remains a bureaucratic hurdle.
