JAMSHEDPUR – The Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce has officially voiced concerns over the government-fixed registration prices for residential flats in Jamshedpur.

Chamber representatives met with Secretary Chandrashekhar, IAS, of Land Revenue Department.

Concerns were also shared with Chief Secretary L. Khiangte and Deputy Commissioner Ananya Mittal.

Chamber President Vijay Anand Moonka highlighted disparities in registration prices.

Honorary General Secretary Manav Kedia provided detailed price comparisons.

In Mango area, government rate is ₹4,951/sq ft vs. market rate of ₹3,500-4,000 for new flats.

Old flats in Mango area have market rates of ₹2,500-3,000/sq ft.

Similar discrepancies noted in Sakchi, Bishtupur, Kadma, Sonari, and Jugsalai.

Vice President Anil Modi criticized lack of consultation in price-setting process.

Advocate Rajiv Agarwal expressed community frustration over routine price increases.

Chamber suggests differentiated pricing for old and new flats.

Vice President Abhishek Agarwal Goldy called for a more transparent process.

The business body recommends involving experts and stakeholders in price discussions.

Chamber urges Land Revenue Department to implement a more equitable pricing system.

Other office bearers, including Bharat Makani and CA Anil Ringasia, joined the appeal.

The Chamber seeks fair and just pricing for residential properties in Jamshedpur.
