Martyred Army Havildar’s mortal remains to reach city on Thursday

Manohar Kunkal, an Army Havildar, was martyred on duty during deployment in Kashmir for Amarnath Yatra last Monday. He died due to heart attack. The mortal remains would reach the city on Thursday.

Jamshedpur: The mortal remains of Havildar Manohar Kunkal, a resident of Chaibasa Manjhari in West Singhbhum district, who was on Army duty during the Amarnath Yatra and who died of a heart attack on Monday, would reach the city on Thursday.

The information has been conveyed to the family members.

Late Manohar Kunka has left behind two daughters and his wife. One daughter is 7-years-old and the other is 9.

Both are studying at Beldih Church School. Manohar Kunkal had also completed his studies from this school.

The body of martyr Manohar Kunkal will be brought to Manjhari in his native village Chaibasa on Thursday.

Before that the body will be brought to Jamshedpur. After that the body will be taken to Manjhari by road.

As soon as the information reached his village in Manjhari, there was a wave of shock, mourning and disbelief.
