Steel City Scores with Metro-Style Sports Facility

Innovative turf for cricket and football debuts at popular eatery

Jamshedpur embraces urban sports trend with new box cricket and football facility, set to revolutionize local recreation scene.

JAMSHEDPUR – An innovative sports facility is poised to open at a nearby restaurant and pub, infusing the city with a touch of urban sophistication.

The opening of a new turf and cafe for box cricket and box football at Banjara Restaurant and Tamasha Pub is a noteworthy development for Jamshedpur’s recreational scene.

Set to debut on July 25th, this cutting-edge sports facility is designed to accommodate individuals of all ages, from young children to adults.

A facility, modeled after similar setups in major cities, will include a flexible turf that can be used for both cricket and football activities.

Ensuring the safety of participants is a top priority, as the playing area is secured by sturdy iron mesh fencing. This provides peace of mind and a worry-free experience for everyone involved.

"We are thrilled to bring this one-of-a-kind idea to Jamshedpur," said Devendra Purohit, a representative of the group. "The aim is to create a safe and enjoyable space for people who love sports, regardless of their skill level."

The grand opening will be attended by prominent individuals, such as former Indian and IPL cricketer Saurabh Tiwary, as well as other esteemed guests from different fields.

Visitors can anticipate a diverse range of culinary options to enhance their gaming experience, with a variety of snacks and meals available at the facility.

"This initiative has a broader impact than just sports," commented Rajesh Verma, who previously served as the secretary of the JCA. "The goal is to establish a central space where the community can come together, engage in activities, and have a great time."

Patrons will have the convenience of booking the turf at the facility for their desired durations through a reservation system. Advanced booking options will also be available to make the process even more convenient.
