JAMSHEDPUR – Motilal Nehru Public School (MNPS) has unveiled an ambitious plan to transform its campus into a model of sustainability and environmental stewardship.

The initiative, spearheaded by Tata Consulting Engineers Ltd experts Sayan Kesh and Joydeep Dutta, aims to revolutionize the school’s approach to resource management and environmental education.

"Our vision is to nurture a generation of environmentally conscious leaders," remarked Principal Sangeeta Singh during the program launch.

Comprehensive Green Measures

MNPS has implemented a range of eco-friendly practices, including:

1. Harnessing solar energy to decrease fossil fuel dependence

2. Innovative water conservation through rainwater capture and greywater utilization

3. Comprehensive waste management and recycling programs

4. Deployment of energy-efficient technologies

5. Encouraging green transportation options among students and staff

6. On-campus organic gardening and composting initiatives

7. Curriculum enhancements to emphasize environmental studies
