JAMSHEDPUR – The Jamshedpur Management Association held an Extraordinary General Meeting on February 17, 2026, electing two new members to its Executive Board to fill vacancies left by outgoing members.

The association’s president, Chaitanya Bhanu, who also serves as Vice President of Jamshedpur Operations at Tata Steel, presided over the meeting. Several eminent board members and representatives from leading corporate and institutional bodies were in attendance.

The session began with a formal tribute to two departing executive board members. Sunil Tiwari of Tata Motors Commercial Vehicle and Colonel Manas Kundu of the Indian Army were both acknowledged for their contributions. Both had relocated from the city owing to fresh professional assignments.

On the other hand, the meeting also marked new beginnings. Following the departure of the two members, elections were conducted to fill the vacant positions.

Atul Bhatnagar, Managing Director of Tata Steel Utilities Infrastructure Services Limited, was elected to the board. Anurag Chharia, Plant Head for Jamshedpur at Tata Motors Commercial Vehicle, was similarly elected.

President Chaitanya Bhanu extended a formal welcome to both the newly elected board members. He stressed the importance of inter-organizational collaboration and professional exchange. He described these as vital to strengthening JMA’s role as a management development forum in the region.

The meeting concluded with a group photograph of the Executive Board and the managing team. The occasion also commemorated JMA’s recent receipt of the AIMA Award 2025. The award is a national recognition of excellence conferred by the All India Management Association.

The JMA, which completed its 26th AGM in 2025, has been a key platform for professional development and knowledge sharing among corporate and institutional leaders in the Jamshedpur region.
