Sanskritik Safar Celebrates Indian Classical Arts at Shantiniketan

SHANTINIKETAN – A one-day cultural event titled Sanskritik Safar was organized at Shrijoni Shilpgram on November 15.

The All-India Cultural Federation collaborated for the event. Moreover, Indian Cultural Forum and Swajan joined organizational efforts. The program showcased diverse artistic performances comprehensively.

Rabindra Sangeet formed an integral part of proceedings. However, Shruti Natak presentations added theatrical dimensions. Various Indian classical dance forms enriched the celebration.

Distinguished guests commenced ceremonies with floral tributes. Prof. Dr. Pushpita Mukherjee paid respects to Gurudev’s image. Besides, Dr. Keya Chanda participated in the ritual.

Dr. Shubhaseesh Bhattacharya joined other dignitaries present. Furthermore, Guru Sushmita Bhattacharya received traditional honors. Guru Maa Tamala Nayak also graced the occasion.

Guests received bouquets and traditional shawls ceremonially. Meanwhile, organizers extended warm welcome to participants. Purbita Dutta rendered captivating Rabindra Sangeet selections.

Rangit Sengupta accompanied on keyboard skillfully. On the other hand, Sandeep Sengupta played Esraj beautifully. Musical accompaniment enhanced vocal performance quality significantly.

Dr. Debasmita Mukherjee presented solo Kathak performance. However, Partha Sarathi Debnath also showcased Kathak artistry. Tanmoy Chakraborty demonstrated technical proficiency in classical dance.

Dr. Amrita Sengupta Dutta performed solo Bharatanatyam gracefully. Moreover, Saoparna Sur dazzled audiences with expressive movements. Both dancers received enthusiastic appreciation from attendees.

Sujata Nayak presented Odissi solo performance elegantly. Besides, Shantanudev Das showcased creative dance interpretations. Diverse classical styles enriched cultural tapestry comprehensively.

Shweta Verma and Suman Dey performed duet presentation. Furthermore, they represented Nrityabhumi Indian Classical Dance School. Their synchronized movements demonstrated rigorous training standards.

Swajan presented Shruti Natak titled Kaler Mandira. However, the theatrical production combined music and dialogue. Traditional storytelling techniques engaged audiences throughout performance.

Nrityarashi Dance Studio presented group dance performance. Meanwhile, Odissi Ashram showcased ensemble choreography beautifully. Makhla Shinjini troupe demonstrated regional dance traditions.

Radhakrishnanand Kalakendra contributed classical group presentation. On the other hand, Kalalankar troupe performed traditional compositions. Lasyanritya Mandir completed the diverse lineup.

Multiple dance troupes showcased varied traditional styles. Besides, each group brought unique interpretations forward. Classical dance heritage received comprehensive representation throughout.

Gopinath Roy provided organizational guidance for the event. Furthermore, Aparajita Paul coordinated logistical arrangements efficiently. Sayanti Majumdar managed evening proceedings skillfully.

California Television Global served as media partner. However, their coverage ensured wider audience reach. Documentation preserved cultural performances for posterity effectively.
