ADITYAPUR – A body of a young man was discovered near a pond adjacent to Gamharia Block premises under Adityapur police station, sending shockwaves through the locality.

Local residents alerted Adityapur police station upon discovering the body. Station in-charge Vinod Tirki reached the spot with his team. An investigation was immediately launched.

The deceased was identified through documents found in his pocket. He was Anand Kumar, son of Haldar Prasad Chaudhary. His address is C. Nirmal Mahto Path, Chhota Gamharia.

Police recovered an employee identification card from the victim. The card was from Amalgam Steel and Power Limited. Moreover, it belonged to the SMS department.

Authorities are currently informing the family members about the incident. On the other hand, police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death. The cause of death remains under examination.
