Police Yet to Reach Scene After Early Morning Discovery

JAMSHEDPUR – A dead body was found near a shop in Gamahria on Thursday morning, causing alarm among residents.

The discovery was made at around 7:00 a.m. outside Dara Variety Store, situated along the service road near Lal Building Chowk. Local people quickly informed Adityapur police after spotting the body. However, by the time reports were filed, the police team had not yet reached the location.

Meanwhile, a large crowd gathered at the site. The deceased was identified by locals as Rajesh Mahato. Residents said that he was addicted to intoxicants. On the other hand, suspicions have arisen that his death might have been due to excessive alcohol intake.

A local resident at the scene remarked, “People are deeply shocked. Many are linking his death to alcohol abuse.”
