Security Forces Neutralize ₹5 Lakh Bounty Naxalite Mukdev Yadav

DALTONGANJ – Security forces eliminated a top TSPC rebel in Palamu during an early morning gunfight.

The encounter started around 7 a.m. near the border of Tarhasi and Manatu police station areas. In this clash, TSPC militant Mukdev alias Mukesh Yadav, carrying a bounty of ₹5 lakh, was killed.

According to sources, Yadav was part of the Shashikant group of TSPC. He had been active across Palamu and nearby districts for a long period. Moreover, he was accused of involvement in several violent and criminal incidents.

Meanwhile, security personnel recovered an Insas rifle along with other materials from the site. In addition, a search operation is still continuing in the region to trace the remaining Naxal cadres.

One local source said, “The forces moved swiftly, and the encounter was intense.”
