BJP Holds Statewide Protest on Surya Hasda Encounter and RIMS-2 Scam

JAMSHEDPUR – The Bharatiya Janata Party organized statewide demonstrations on Friday against the Hemant Soren government over the Surya Hasda encounter and the RIMS-2 scam.

Across Jharkhand, protests were held outside block offices and government institutions. BJP leaders accused the state administration of failure in law and order and governance. They alleged that corruption and anti-people policies had weakened public trust.

In Jamshedpur, the demonstration was led by district BJP president Sudhanshu Ojha, with Hatia MLA Naveen Jaiswal also present. Thousands of workers, leaders, supporters, and local representatives assembled outside the Deputy Commissioner’s office. Protesters raised slogans against the government while carrying banners and placards.

Meanwhile, BJP alleged that the Surya Hasda encounter lacked transparency and was influenced by political pressure. The party demanded a judicial inquiry to reveal the truth. “Only an impartial investigation can ensure justice,” a party leader stated at the gathering.

On the other hand, BJP also targeted the state government over the RIMS-2 scam. They claimed crores of rupees were embezzled from the health sector, affecting patient care. The party demanded strict punishment for those involved and called for an immediate commission to probe the matter.

At the protest site, BJP leaders highlighted the central government’s initiatives and contrasted them with the alleged failures of the state administration.
