Police Register FIR After Jugsalai Girl Reported Missing

JAMSHEDPUR – A 14-year-old girl from Jugsalai was reported missing and later traced to a Bagbera youth accused of luring her away. Police have registered a case after receiving the complaint.

According to the father’s statement, the girl disappeared on August 22 around 8 p.m. Despite extensive searches, she could not be found. However, family members later learned that Ayush Kumar from Postonagar, Bagbera, had allegedly taken her.

Moreover, the complaint also accused Ayush’s mother of helping him in the act. The matter reached Jugsalai police station only on September 3. Following this, officers filed a named FIR against both accused individuals.

Meanwhile, investigators stated that mobile location data is being used to follow leads in the case. A police official remarked, “We are relying on digital footprints to track the suspects.”

The incident has raised serious concerns in the locality. The FIR lists Ayush Kumar and his mother as primary accused. The police investigation is still underway.
