JAMSHEDPUR – The Jamshedpur Branch of the Indian Institute of Materials Management (IIMM) reached a noteworthy achievement by organizing a highly successful ‘CPO Meet’ at the Center for Excellence.
Ranjan Sinha, Chief Procurement Officer of Tata Steel, was honored to attend the event as the Chief Guest.
Sidhartha Dash, the Chairman of IIMM Jamshedpur Branch, kicked off the event with a warm welcome presentation. He emphasized the branch’s new initiatives that are designed to improve the skills of industrial staff and contractors.

Dash highlighted the importance of increasing membership intake and discussed plans to expand IIMM’s reach and influence in order to address the challenges presented by Industry 4.0 and India’s ambitious goal of achieving a 5 Trillion Dollar economy.
Rana Das, the Vice President (East) of IIMM, talked about the exciting digital initiatives that are planned to enhance and modernize the operations of the branch.

He emphasized the potential growth of Odisha and the opportunity for materials management professionals from Jharkhand and Odisha to work together for overall development.
A K Srivastava highlighted the potential for IIMM to enhance the professional growth of Tata Steel professionals and supplier partners, particularly in the domains of risk and sustainability management.
