Ganinath Seva Sansthan to Celebrate 52nd Jayanti in Jamshedpur
Souvenir Released; Events and Competitions Precede August 23 Main Ceremony

JAMSHEDPUR – Ganinath Seva Sansthan, run by the Madhyadeshiya Vaishya (Halwai) community, launched its souvenir on Sunday as part of the upcoming 52nd Ganinath Jayanti celebration.
The Jayanti will be marked on August 23, 2025, with a grand program at the Ganinath temple. Ahead of the main day, the institution hosted contests for children and women, including a stick dance, quiz, and mehendi design competition. Winners will be awarded during the Jayanti event.
The program will also honor meritorious students from matriculation and intermediate examinations with “Pratima Samman.” On the morning of August 23, a procession will start from Ganinath temple, move through Tinplate roundabout and Golmuri Chowk, and return to the temple. Ritual worship and flag hoisting will follow.
Former Chief Minister Raghubar Das, ex-minister Banna Gupta, and Jamshedpur MP Vidyut Varan Mahato will attend as chief guests. Golmuri MLA Purnima Sahu will join as a special guest. Thousands of community members from Jamshedpur and nearby areas are expected to participate in the event.
