JAMSHEDPUR – Agrico Durga Puja Committee conducted its annual general meeting at the club house, approving budgets and discussing elaborate celebration plans for the upcoming festival.

Chairman Y P Singh presided over the gathering. Assistant treasurer Anil Pandey presented the income and expenditure statement. The financial report covered last year’s Durga Puja celebrations.

Members unanimously approved the financial accounts. The committee expressed gratitude to city’s religious devotees. All members who supported previous year’s festivities received appreciation.

However, the primary focus remained on this year’s preparations. Extensive discussions covered various aspects of the celebration. Committee members provided valuable suggestions for enhancing the festival.

The meeting allocated Rs 12,50,000 for pandal construction. Moreover, idol budget was set at Rs 1,80,000. Total expenditure is expected to reach Rs 14,30,000.

Furthermore, organizers decided to make the fair grander. This year’s event will surpass previous celebrations. Enhanced decorations and improved facilities are planned.

General Secretary Bhupendra Singh conducted the proceedings. Treasurer Sanjay Singh Bablu delivered the vote of thanks. Both officials ensured smooth meeting operations.

Besides budget discussions, members reviewed last year’s success. The committee acknowledged community support and participation. Religious harmony during celebrations received special mention.

On the other hand, planning committees were formed. Different groups will handle specific responsibilities. Coordination mechanisms were established for efficient execution.

The meeting witnessed participation from over 70 members. Notable attendees included Sourav Sen, Bappa, Abhishek De, and Rajan. Other prominent members like Amit Upadhyay, Laloo, and Shibu Banerjee contributed significantly.

Meanwhile, veteran organizers shared their experience. Kalika Singh, Kartik Lakra, and Bala Dube provided guidance. Their insights helped shape this year’s celebration strategy.
