Key Points:

  • Mahakaleshwar temple faces third consecutive day of theft incidents
  • Thieves steal religious items including serpent and trident from Shivling
  • Caretaker demands increased police patrolling in drug-affected area

JAMSHEDPUR – Mahakaleshwar temple on Shiv Ghat Road under Jugsalai police station jurisdiction faces repeated targeting by antisocial elements attempting theft and hurting religious sentiments.

Unknown thieves have struck the temple three consecutive times. They targeted donation boxes and other temple property systematically. The incidents occurred during late night hours consistently.

However, the latest theft involved sacred religious items. Thieves entered through the back route again yesterday. They stole serpent and trident attached to Shivling.

Moreover, worship vessels disappeared from the temple premises. The thieves executed their plan during nighttime hours. They targeted items used for daily religious ceremonies.

Meanwhile, temple committee members immediately informed Jugsalai police. A written complaint was filed with local authorities. Police reached the spot and began investigating thoroughly.

In addition, caretaker Sunil Sharma provided detailed information. He explained that drug addicts gather in evenings. The area becomes unsafe for residents regularly.

Furthermore, Sharma lives alone with his family there. Any untoward incident could happen anytime now. The donation box was stolen two days earlier.

On the other hand, religious sentiments face deliberate targeting. The theft pattern suggests organized criminal activity. Drug addicts appear to be behind these incidents.

Additionally, Sharma discovered missing items this morning. Sacred serpent and trident had vanished overnight. Worship vessels were also stolen from premises.

The caretaker expressed serious concerns about safety. He demanded district administration’s immediate intervention. Regular police patrolling needs to be increased significantly.

Moreover, he requested TOP deployment in the area. The temple requires proper security arrangements now. Religious places deserve protection from criminal elements.

These incidents highlight growing crime in Jugsalai area. Temple thefts have become increasingly common recently. Police investigation continues to identify the culprits.
