JAMSHEDPUR – A resident of Majhi Tola in Adityapur police station area has filed a missing person complaint after his wife failed to return home on Monday evening.

Suman Kar approached the police station to report his wife’s disappearance. He informed authorities that Rekha Devi left their home on Monday afternoon. However, she did not return by late evening hours.

The husband conducted extensive searches in the neighborhood area. He also contacted relatives and acquaintances for information. Moreover, he visited various locations where his wife might have gone.

“No clues have been found despite thorough searching,” a police source stated. The family has expressed growing concern about her whereabouts. Meanwhile, the husband fears something unfortunate may have happened.

Suman Kar has provided detailed physical description to police officers. His wife is 27 years old with dusky complexion. Additionally, she stands approximately 5 feet tall and was wearing a pink saree.

The missing woman left home around 3:30 PM on Monday. Family members expected her to return by evening. In contrast, her prolonged absence has raised serious concerns among relatives.

Police have registered the complaint and initiated investigation procedures. Officers are examining possible locations where she might have gone. Furthermore, they are questioning neighbors and local residents for information.

The Adityapur police station has formed a search team. They are coordinating with other police stations in the area. Besides, officers are checking nearby hospitals and public places.

Missing person cases require immediate attention from law enforcement agencies. Police typically expand search operations within 24 hours of reporting. However, the initial hours remain crucial for successful recovery.

The husband has appealed to police for swift action. He emphasized the urgency of finding his wife safely. On the other hand, police have assured complete investigation of the matter.
