RANCHI – Indian Meteorological Department has issued severe weather warnings as monsoon activity intensifies across multiple states with Jharkhand facing extremely heavy rainfall threats.
The weather department forecasts extremely heavy rainfall for Jharkhand. Meanwhile, Odisha also faces similar weather conditions ahead. However, isolated areas will experience the most intense downpours.
Heavy to very heavy rainfall will affect both states significantly. On the other hand, some locations may witness unprecedented precipitation levels. Moreover, meteorologists emphasize preparedness for extreme weather events.
Uttarakhand will experience heavy to very heavy rainfall patterns. In addition, multiple locations across the state remain vulnerable. Besides, mountainous terrain increases flood risk considerably.
Gangetic West Bengal faces isolated heavy rainfall warnings currently. Furthermore, Haryana and Chandigarh expect similar weather conditions. However, Delhi also remains under meteorological department’s radar.
Himachal Pradesh will witness heavy to very heavy precipitation. Meanwhile, Konkan and Goa regions prepare for intense rainfall. Moreover, Madhya Maharashtra also faces challenging weather ahead.
Punjab and West Uttar Pradesh received heavy rainfall alerts. On the other hand, weather patterns suggest widespread monsoon activity. In contrast, some areas may experience localized flooding.
