NEW DELHI – The Republic Day 2025 parade is set to begin at 10:30 AM today in New Delhi, marking India’s 76th Republic Day. This year’s celebrations highlight India’s military strength, cultural diversity, and technological advancements.

Parade Schedule and Route

The grand parade will commence at Vijay Chowk, proceed along Kartavya Path, pass India Gate, and conclude at the Red Fort. A stunning flypast by 47 aircraft will showcase India’s aerial capabilities, culminating the ceremony.

Indonesian Participation

This year, Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto will be the chief guest. A 160-member marching contingent and a 190-member band from Indonesia will join Indian contingents, symbolizing the strong bilateral ties between the two nations.

Air India’s AR Sky Parade

Air India has introduced an innovative Augmented Reality (AR) Sky Parade, allowing users to scan a QR code and experience a virtual airshow. This feature connects Indians worldwide in a unique celebration of national pride.

Cultural Showcases

The parade will feature 31 tableaux from various States, Union Territories, and Central Ministries, each showcasing India’s vibrant culture and achievements. Units from the Indian Armed Forces, Para-Military Forces, Auxiliary Civil Forces, NCC, and NSS will participate in the ceremonial march.

Viewing Options

The event will be broadcast live on Doordarshan, with coverage starting at 9:00 AM, including the flag-hoisting ceremony by President Droupadi Murmu. Viewers can also live stream the event on Doordarshan National’s YouTube channel, Prasar Bharati Live, Disney+ Hotstar, and private news platforms.
