JAMSHEDPUR – Karim City College’s Geography Department conducted its 16th Annual Workshop on Celestial and Meteorological Observation, offering students practical exposure to weather monitoring tools.

Educational Innovation

The workshop featured innovative teaching methods. A student participant remarked, “The hands-on experience made complex concepts easier to understand.”

Meanwhile, the college has upgraded its meteorological lab in 2023. This enhancement has significantly improved practical training capabilities.

Expert Demonstrations

On the other hand, faculty members showcased various instruments. The demonstration included advanced tools like GPS and anemometers.

Moreover, the Geography Department has conducted over 50 practical sessions in the past year. These sessions have helped students master meteorological concepts.

Future Initiatives

In contrast, the college plans to expand its celestial observation program. The administration has approved funding for additional equipment.

However, the focus remains on practical learning. An expert stated, “Our goal is to make meteorological science accessible and engaging.”
