JAMSHEDPUR – A block-level health fair at Noamundi Community Health Center is offering multiple medical services including free medicines to local residents.
MLA Sonaram Sinku emphasized the fair’s importance for rural healthcare access. “This initiative brings various medical services under one roof,” he noted.
Focus on Rural Healthcare
The fair features stalls for dental check-ups, Ayushman Bharat, and digital health cards. A local resident highlighted the convenience for villagers unable to travel to cities for treatment.
Medical Officer Dr. Haripad Hembram oversees the comprehensive health services. Meanwhile, specialized counters handle maternal health, adolescent care, and immunization programs.
Expanding Healthcare Access
The fair aims to strengthen healthcare delivery in remote areas. Moreover, facilities for malaria detection, leprosy screening, and disability services are available.
District Council Chairperson Laxmi Suren attended the inauguration. Additionally, Block Congress President Manjeet Pradhan praised the initiative’s impact on rural communities.
