JAMSHEDPUR – The East Singhbhum District Congress Committee organized a padyatra from Golpahari to Khasmahal on Thursday, championing constitutional values.

Over 100 Congress workers participated in the foot march that covered nearly 5 kilometers. Meanwhile, party activists raised slogans celebrating India’s freedom fighters.

“The Constitution faces unprecedented challenges in recent times,” a senior party leader told reporters during the march.

Growing Participation

The procession witnessed participation from various party wings. Moreover, youth Congress members joined in large numbers.

On the other hand, local residents lined up along the route to witness the march. Several onlookers expressed support for the initiative.

Constitutional Focus

District Congress President Anand Bihari Dubey addressed the gathering at Khasmahal Chowk. “We must protect our constitutional values at any cost,” remarked a party insider.

However, the march also highlighted concerns about democratic institutions. Meanwhile, speakers emphasized the importance of preserving India’s secular fabric.
