Private Schools in Jamshedpur to Announce Admission Results on January 18

JAMSHEDPUR – Parents in Jamshedpur eagerly awaiting their children’s school admission results will have their wait end on January 18. Results for entry-level admissions across 65+ private schools in the city will begin rolling out from 6 AM, with the final lists expected by 4 PM.

Intense Competition for Limited Seats

A total of 70,000 applications were submitted for approximately 10,500 seats in schools across the city. The admission process for general category seats, which began in November, saw a surge in applications, reflecting intense competition.

The lottery process for admissions started on January 4 and concluded on January 16. Schools were instructed to ensure transparency, with lottery software details and videography provided to the District Superintendent of Education (DSE) office.

List Release Schedule

Rajendra Vidyalaya in Sakchi will be the first to release its list at 6 AM on January 18, both on its website and notice board. Schools like DBMS English School, Hill Top, and Vivek Vidyalaya will release their lists between 2 PM and 4 PM.

Admission Details and Next Steps

Selected students’ parents will receive admission and fee details starting January 20. The schools have also been directed to upload the final lists on their websites and submit videography records of the process to the authorities.
