MEDININAGAR – The Hussainabad unit of the All India Ex-Servicemen Service Council celebrated Army Day on Wednesday at its local office premises. The event highlighted the sacrifices of soldiers and included cultural programs by school students.

The ceremony was inaugurated by Hussainabad SDO Gaurang Mahto, BDO Sunil Verma, and council patron Colonel Sanjay Singh. The dignitaries lit lamps before the statues of Bharat Mata and martyrs, followed by floral tributes to honor their sacrifices. The event also included a presentation of mementos to the guests by the council.

Cultural Programs Add Vibrance

Students from various schools, including Plus Two Balika High School, Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandir, and Boon Public School, showcased their talents through cultural performances, making the event memorable.

Acknowledging Veterans’ Role

SDO Gaurang Mahto, addressing the gathering, commended the dedication of soldiers who serve in challenging conditions, ensuring national security. He praised the efforts of local ex-servicemen in contributing to society post-retirement, calling it exemplary for others.

Colonel Sanjay Singh emphasized the council’s commitment to guiding Hussainabad’s youth toward careers in the Indian Army. He stated, “Our organization is dedicated to assisting young individuals in shaping their futures through service in the armed forces.”

Presence of Dignitaries

Notable attendees included Captain RC Mehta, Subedar Asharfi Pal, Havildar Lallu Paswan, Veer Nari Premlata Kunwar, and many others who contributed to the event’s success.
