JAMSHEDPUR – Gita Theatre organized a Youth Festival to commemorate National Youth Day, celebrating the achievements of 15 young individuals and promoting cultural unity.

The event commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp and floral tributes to Swami Vivekananda’s portrait by Gita Theatre’s patron Shivpujan Singh and other dignitaries. Hundreds of youth gathered to witness the celebration.

Cultural Performances Inspire Youth

Gita Theatre’s artists showcased mesmerizing cultural dances and a short play depicting the life of Swami Vivekananda. These performances highlighted the importance of cultural heritage and the spirit of youth.

Jamshedpur Yuva Ratna Awards Presented

Fifteen young achievers from Jamshedpur were honored with the prestigious Jamshedpur Yuva Ratna Award for their contributions in education, arts, and social work. Notable among them was Rohit Karmakar from Sonari Adarsh Seva Sansthan, recognized for his active community service.

Leaders Motivate the Youth

Patron Shivpujan Singh described youth as the backbone of society, urging them to contribute significantly to the nation’s progress. President Gita Kumari encouraged young individuals to join Gita Theatre and participate in cultural and cinematic initiatives to showcase Jamshedpur’s talent on national and international platforms.

Guests Add Prestige to the Event

Prominent attendees included Mohammad Tahir Hussain, Director of Hind ITI; BJP Minority Morcha State General Secretary Mohammad Tajdar Alam; Jamshedpur West Assembly candidate Vikas Singh; and Sushmita Sarkar from Sampoorna Ashray Sanstha.

The festival concluded with a vote of thanks from Secretary Prem Dixit, followed by refreshments distributed among the attendees, leaving a lasting impression of unity and enthusiasm.
