JAMSHEDPUR – District officials held urgent discussions on Monday to address the critical infrastructure issues plaguing Bagbera area.

The meeting focused on two major concerns affecting local residents. MP Vidyut Mahto emphasized the need for immediate intervention.

Waste Management Crisis

Heaps of garbage have become a common sight in Bagbera. “The area lacks proper waste management infrastructure,” a local resident remarked.

Moreover, DC Annay Mittal directed the Block Development Officer to coordinate with the Market Committee Secretary. The officials will develop an action plan.

Water Supply Project Review

The implementation of the comprehensive water supply scheme faced scrutiny. Furthermore, officials discussed various obstacles delaying the project.

Meanwhile, district authorities have planned weekly reviews of the progress. In addition, they will monitor the waste management initiatives.

Community Involvement

Panchayat Samiti members Jharna Mishra and Kishore Singh attended the meeting. Previously, similar initiatives failed due to coordination gaps.
