JAMSHEDPUR – To celebrate Swami Vivekananda’s 162nd birth anniversary, VR Media and Production organized a prize distribution ceremony at the Telco Theme Park on Saturday. The event honored winners of poetry, story, and painting competitions aimed at nurturing creativity among children.

The ceremony was attended by prominent figures, including Vivek Vidyalaya Principal Awadhesh Kumar Singh, Jamshedpur Press Club President Sanjeev Bhardwaj, and Jharkhand Human Rights Association Chairman Dinesh Kumar Kinu. Other dignitaries such as social worker Anjani Pandey, Prakash Sahay, and Arijit Sarkar also graced the occasion.

Celebrating Creative Excellence

Vivek Vidyalaya, Chhota Govindpur, earned the prestigious Overall Champion title for excelling in all three categories. Principal Awadhesh Kumar Singh, accompanied by teachers Gargi Dharma, Sushma Namta, and Jeet Singh Rathore, received the award on behalf of the school. Individual accolades were also distributed, including:

  • Most Active Participant: Bhavana Kumari (Class 5B, Vivek Vidyalaya)
  • First Entry Award: Debashree Gop (Class 1A, Vig English School)
  • Special Appearance Award: Anurag Sawarn and Harshit Sinha

Encouraging Artistic Growth

A total of 35 students were recognized for their creative talents, with prizes given to the top three winners in each class for poetry, story, and painting. Guests commended the event for fostering creativity and encouraging children to embrace Swami Vivekananda’s ideals.

The presence of personalities like Naveen Mandal, Mohammad Rafiq, and Chirag Srivastava added to the event’s significance. They lauded the organizers for providing a platform to enhance students’ artistic and creative capabilities.
