JAMSHEDPUR – Members of Parliament raised concerns about passenger amenities and pending railway projects at South Eastern Railway’s zonal committee meeting.

General Manager Anil Kumar Mishra chaired the discussions. “We will review all suggestions for passenger facilities,” a railway official stated.

Infrastructure Development

MPs proposed new train stoppages and facilities. They emphasized timely completion of pending projects.

Meanwhile, discussions covered new railway lines. Road overbridges and underpass constructions were reviewed.

Moreover, station upgradation plans received attention. The focus remained on improving passenger amenities.

Parliamentary Participation

Asansol MP Shatrughna Prasad Sinha led the meeting. Eight other parliamentarians attended the discussions.

Furthermore, MPs from both divisions participated actively. They provided inputs on regional requirements.

The General Manager shared performance updates. Both freight and passenger sectors showed progress.
