RANCHI – The Jharkhand government, under Chief Minister Hemant Soren, will hold its first cabinet meeting of 2025 on January 7 at 4 PM. The meeting will take place at the Council Chamber, Jharkhand Ministry (Project Bhawan), and promises to address significant administrative and developmental issues.

In the last cabinet meeting on December 24, 2024, several critical proposals were approved. These included a 3% hike in dearness allowance for state employees and pensioners, raising the DA from 50% to 53%. Other key decisions were:
