RVS College Hosts Solar Power FDP with NIT Jamshedpur Expert

Prof. Dr. Simanta Kumar Samal discusses advancements in solar PV technology

RVS College of Engineering and Technology launched a week-long faculty development program focusing on solar power innovations.

JAMSHEDPUR – RVS College of Engineering and Technology began a seven-day faculty development program, featuring NIT Jamshedpur’s Prof. Dr. Simanta Kumar Samal discussing solar PV power processing.

Dr. Samal highlighted the environmental benefits and growing importance of solar power in the renewable energy sector.

He explained how photovoltaic technology directly converts sunlight into electricity, emphasizing its global advancements.

The NIT professor predicted that solar power would become a crucial technology in the 21st century.

Dr. Samal shared insights from his published research papers, detailing new technologies in solar power.

College Principal Dr. Rajesh Kumar Tiwari welcomed Dr. Samal with a bouquet at the event.

Dean of Administration, Professor Krishna Murari, presented a memento to honor the guest speaker.

The program was attended by Dean of Academics Dr. Sharat Chandra Mahato and faculty members from various departments.

This faculty development program aims to enhance knowledge about renewable energy technologies among educators.
