JAMSHEDPUR – Deputy Commissioner Ananya Mittal conducted a Janata Darbar at the Collectorate, addressing over 70 public grievances.

The event witnessed concerns ranging from land compensation to healthcare assistance. Several cases received immediate resolution.

Land and Healthcare Issues

Residents sought compensation for acquired lands meant for development projects. Multiple families awaited payments pending for months.

Healthcare emerged as another pressing concern. “We prioritize medical assistance requests,” remarked a senior official.

Employment and Infrastructure

Women applicants showed interest in Anganwadi positions. The administration has previously filled 200 such positions.

Meanwhile, teachers reported salary irregularities. The education department has been directed to investigate these claims.

Administrative Action

DC Mittal ordered immediate resolution of pending police complaints. The administration conducts such darbars monthly.

Similar initiatives in neighboring districts have shown positive results. Officials must submit weekly progress reports on forwarded applications.
